Boosting is only charged when a boosted listing sells — on the item price, plus shipping if you did not use a Depop label. If a sale is refunded, Depop reverses all fees.
Depop label or ship it yourself?
With a Depop label, the shipping the buyer pays covers the label, so it never reaches you and is not boosted. Shipping yourself means you collect the shipping charge, pay the carrier, and pay the boosting fee on shipping too.

Does Depop charge selling fees in the US?
No. Depop removed its 10% selling fee for US sellers in July 2024. You still pay payment processing of 3.3% + $0.45 per sale.
How much is the Depop boosting fee?
For US listings boosted on or after March 23, 2026 it is 12% of the sale; boosts made before that date keep the old 8% rate. You only pay it if the boosted item sells.
How much will I get from a $35 sale on Depop?
With $7 shipping charged to the buyer, 7% sales tax and no boost, Depop’s processing fee is $1.93, so you receive $40.07 before your own shipping cost.
